What captures and holds your attention?

I am intrigued by so many things. I grew up in Eastern Oregon, USA, exploring the forests, hiking in the mountains, fishing in the lakes and rivers. Even now, years and miles away, I am captivated by nature and its beauty. Living on the west coast of Ireland, a land rich in cultural heritage, I cannot pass a monastic ruin without stopping to take a few photos. Landscapes and seascapes draw me along single track roads, looking for beauty and awe.

History and “the olden days” fascinate me. I come from a pioneering family, their legacy shaping my own love of travel and adventure. I have written part of the family story, and hope to keep adding to the record in the years ahead.
